How to Get UAN Number

UAN Number provides by employer of the person or one can generate EPF UAN number by self using Aadhaar number. This online facility can use by the people who have their mobile linked with the aadhaar card.

The registering person will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Where the details provided on the aadhaar portal can directly fed on to the UAN login portal.

1. The user can visit the unified portal or EPF UAN login portal using the url https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface
2. On the login screen of the page, the user needs to “Online aadhaar verified UAN allotment”
3. Now on the new screen opens, the user needs to provide the aadhaar card number
4. Click on Generate OTP (The OTP may share on the registered mobile number)
   • On providing the OTP provides on the mobile number, Click submit. The user needs to click on the “Submit” button in order to proceed further.
   • Now a page will open with all the basic details as fetched from the aadhaar account. The user can check all the information that appears on the screen and provide information for the missing fields.
5. The user can then Click on the register button present on the screen after providing the captcha code. This will help generate the UAN code for the new user.

2. Click on the Activate UAN button after providing the details such as UAN, Name, Date of birth, mobile number.
3. An authorization pin will share with the user. UAN for the user will activate once the user provides the pin only.
