The account holder needs to submit the duly filled prescribed application available at branch or downloading in online requesting for the net banking facility for his account. Here the user also needs to provide the mandatory details for authentication (account number, name of the person, correspondence address etc.
Along with all the details, the user is also required to provide the 2 Xerox copies (Proof of Residence / Proof of Identity) and the passbook details of the account
After submitting the details, the account holder can ask the branch officials to provide the pre activated net banking kit which would include the net banking user ID and password along with the do’s and don’ts a person needs to follow while using the net banking facility.
HDFC Phone Banking number / Customer Care

While talking to the bank officials on the net banking number the user will be asked to provide necessary details like customer ID, contact address of the account holder, contact number of the person, and the bank would send the net banking password to the official address shared by the person within 5 working days.

After ensuring that all the details completed by the account holder are correct, the account holder will issue the net banking user ID and password after authenticating the information provided.
