This platform is essential for both salaried and non salaried individuals to keep their deductions in check and use both the Form 16 and Form 16A while filing for Income tax returns with their update deductions and amounts with details. But before you do any, you will need to be able to use the platform and to do that let us get started with How to login to TRACES.
If you have already created your account, then you should have your user id and password which you can use to follow the instructions and login. If you want to either login as a Taxpayer or deductor you can follow either of the processes below which are basically the same. So, go ahead and note down the simple steps as below.
TRACES Login
- Open the webportal https://contents.tdscpc.gov.in/ and then click on the login button
- On the login page, select either to login as Deductor or Taxpayer/PAO and then enter the details
- Enter User ID and Pasword
- Click on login and you will now be logged into your TRACES account
